A gala concert of folk music groups “Dear Karelia – a Hospitable Hostess” will be held in Petrozavodsk in the concert hall of the Music College named after K.E. Rautio on November 20, 2022.
The concert will be attended by the choir of the Russian song “Pitaritsy”, the Karelian folk choir “Oma pajo”, the Ukrainian folk choir “Ukrainska Pisnya”, the folk music ensemble “Toive”, the Cossack song theater “Carousel”, the Armenian dance ensemble “Nairi”, the folklore group of the Kizhi Museum-Reserve, the Belarusian duet “Dobreniki”, vocal trio “17 summer”.
Solo performers will also be present at the event: Elena Sadovskaya, a representative of the Karelian Polonia Society, and Maria Solovyova, a second-year student of the Finno-Ugric Peoples Music Department of the Glazunov Petrozavodsk State Conservatory.
