A giant mural by a famous artist, Erik Bulatov, has appeared in the art park of the Vyksa Steel Works (OMK). The work on a large-scale project had begun in September. The area of the mural is 2.5 thousand square metres. The picture combines two works at once. One of them, the Normandy Barn, was created in 2011; the second one, Stop-Go, is 45 years old this year.
According to the organizers of the event, it took the creator 20 days to create the picture. During the work, he spent 400 liters of paint and 678 aerosol cans. The painting was painted with four lifts and assisted by six artists and two managers. The mural was opened on October 3, 2020. It is noted that despite the difficult situation associated with the spread of the coronavirus, the artist personally attended the opening ceremony.
