The best young musicians, readers, actors, choreographers, artists, and craftsmen were awarded certificates on the appointment of scholarships of the governor of the Novosibirsk Region on December 13.
The ceremony was attended by 150 scholarship holders of the Novosibirsk region in the field of culture and art from 30 municipal districts and five urban districts.
The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov supported the Altair Center for Talented Children. In his welcoming speech, he noted that the region has developed a unique practice of supporting creative children in the field of culture and art through the governor’s scholarships.
Governor’s scholarship holders are repeated winners of regional, all-Russian, international festivals and competitions. Gifted children are awarded annually on a competitive basis to students of children’s music and art schools, participants in amateur performances of cultural institutions of the Novosibirsk Region, as well as students of educational organizations in the field of culture and art. In 2020, the amount of the scholarship will amount to 1,500 rubles per month.
