The charity event “Give Christmas to a child” was launched in the Kuibyshevsky District of the Novosibirsk Region. Last year, thanks to its residents, 400 children received New Year’s gifts.
New Year’s town will be opened in front of the Opera House in Novosibirsk. Collection of gifts for children with disabilities and those whose families are in a difficult life situation was organized by the charity fund “Give a helping hand” and the city youth centre.
Thanks to caring residents of the Kuibyshevsky and Barabinsky districts, 400 children received gifts last year.
“This is actually beyond words. Because children, firstly, are surprised, this is unexpected. We came with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. Even parents are surprised. My dream came true and every child received a gift,” said Roman Kuznetsov, the head of the “Give a helping hand” charity fund.
The skating rink near the opera house is already being filled. Everyone can help with a gift. Information on how to do this is available on the charity fund’s website. In the meantime, volunteers have already begun to collect the hotel. The promotion will last until December 30. Becoming a good wizard is never too late.
