The chief physician of the Moscow Emergency Medical Care Station A. S. Puchkov, Nikolay Plavunov, became the winner in the nomination “Person of the Year in Health Care” and was awarded at the Healthy Moscow assembly.
The doctor has been managing the Medical Station for more than ten years. Under his leadership, the Moscow ambulance received the status of the largest medical organization in Europe. Now the city has 60 substations and employs more than 11 thousand employees.
“We work in rather unusual conditions at high speed. There is no doubt that such a high award inspires respect and gives an additional impetus to move only forward,” said Plavunov.
In addition, on the initiative of Plavunov, a single city dispatch centre was organized in Moscow, the official website of Moscow Mayor reported.
