A large-scale quest-performance “The Map of Our Victory” took place on September 5 in Novosibirsk. The project participants completed a walking route, as well as a car and a bike ride through the significant places of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region associated with the events of the Great Patriotic War, VN.ru reports.
Participation in this event helped residents of the city and region to learn more about the history of their native land. Some of the city’s memorial sites are well known for them, for example, the station from which the soldiers went to the front, the schools in which the hospitals were located, or the evacuated enterprises where the people worked. However, there are also sights that were unusual for the participants.
It is noted that at each point of the quest, the theatrical performance was organized, stylized as events of the past. After the event is over, the systematized material on the routes will be handed over to the museums of the Novosibirsk region to use the map as a tourist local history route.
