On December 1, Moscow will host a festive program dedicated to All-Russian Hockey Day. Muscovites will be able to play table hockey, paint their skates and take part in masterclasses on ice.
This was told by the deputy mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.
“Visitors will find various sports and creative workshops, interactive games and much more,” the deputy mayor said.
The holiday will be interesting both for children and adults. The guys will not only get to know the classic version of the game – ice hockey but also play ball hockey. And adults will get acquainted with cheerleading on skates.
Many free events take place on a day dedicated to hockey. Cheerleaders will perform at the Friendship of Peoples fountain. Girls will show acrobatic stunts on ice, as well as hold a series of masterclasses for guests of all ages.
For children under 14 years of age, hockey classes will be held in the children’s area of the rink. Trainers will explain the basic rules to young visitors and teach children to do tricks and exercises.
Also, Muscovites will be able to participate in table hockey tournaments at the House of Culture. Paint lovers will be able to colour their pair of skates with acrylic paints. Painting workshops will be held behind administrative building No. 206.
All-Russian Hockey Day was founded in 2007. On this day, friendly matches are held throughout the country, as well as demonstrations and masterclasses from professional athletes.
