The hybrid operating room has begun to operate. It will treat aortic valve defects, aortic aneurysms, diseases of the arteries of the lower extremities. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, noted that the creation of the operating room will increase the level of care for cardiac patients to the level of the best world clinics. According to preliminary data, this will provide assistance to more than 500 patients annually.
Mikhail Gordeev, a chief freelance cardiovascular surgeon of the Russian Ministry of Health, advised the doctors. Prior to this, the professor personally performed two surgical interventions.
