Ice Hockey Championship 2023 to Be Held in Omsk and Novosibirsk

The World Junior Ice Hockey Championship is scheduled to take place from December 26, 2022, to January 6, 2023. Ten national teams will take part in the competition, reports.  

It is noted that a total of 31 matches will be played as part of the championship, 15 of which will take place in Omsk and 16 in Novosibirsk, including semifinal matches, the match for third place, and the final. It is specified that the opening and closing ceremonies of the tournament will be held in Novosibirsk.

The plans of the main events of the championship provide for transport services, ensuring the readiness of sports facilities and places of residence, security measures, medical and anti-doping support, information support and marketing, official ceremonies and cultural programmes, sports and refereeing, as well as the attraction of volunteers.
