The innovative train “Volga” will start running between Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg. The first flight is scheduled for May 8, 2021. The train will include 11 red-grey carriages with a capacity of up to 500 people, NN.ru reports.
It is expected that the new train will be able to move freely from one car to another. Each compartment has a safe and air temperature control system. In the reserved seat area, there are also curtain rods.
In addition, a service area was organized on the train, where coolers, coffee machines, and snacks were installed. The carriages also have showers and a changing table for babies. Besides, the train is equipped for wheelchair passengers.
