The famous American rapper Kanye West decided to visit Russia, where he would like to hold a Sunday service in a Moscow church, get acquainted with the country’s President Vladimir Putin and businessman Araz Agalarov.
A representative of the artist, Ameer Sudan, said that the rapper plans to make Russia a “second home” for himself and spend a lot of time there, the Billboard magazine reported. In addition, West plans to create joint music tracks with the son of the Russian businessman Araz Agalarov, singer Emin.
Being asked about the attitude of the Russian leader to such wishes of the American rapper, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, replied that the presidential administration “is not a vis-a-vis of the performer,” RIA Novosti reports.
“I don’t think that the presidential administration is a vis-a-vis of the performer. Neither in terms of a church service nor in terms of organizing his trip,” Peskov said.
Answering the question about how much Peskov himself and President Putin are familiar with the activities of Kanye West, Peskov replied that they are “not so deeply acquainted to give estimates.”
Meanwhile, Kanye West’s PR representative, Pierre Rougier, has dismissed reports of the rapper’s alleged plan, Sputnik reports.
“Entirely fabricated. Work of fiction or wishful thinking from these Russian people,” Rougier said, while Sudan did not respond to the request for comment.
And still, Emin Agalarov’s publicist, Rob Goldstone, confirmed that “there are talks going on.”
