The “Ak Bars” Kazan hockey club won the most important match against Omsk “Avangard”. The final score on the scoreboard is 2:0 and the hero of the meeting became Kirill Petrov, KazanFirst reports.
It is noted that the first two periods were calm. The teams acted carefully and put more efforts into defence. In the second period, the initiative was taken over by the “Ak Bars” team. Petrov opened the scoring in the 6th minute. At the very end, when playing 6×5, Petrov grabbed the puck, removed the Omsk defender with one move and sent the puck into the empty net. Now the series of games will move to Kazan and today, on April 15, the spectators will see the decisive match for reaching the Gagarin Cup final.
