Russian dealers of KIA have started selling a new special series KIA Sportage Black Edition. This version will now offer the Prestige (with 2.0 MPI and 2.4 GDI engines) and Premium (with 2.4 GDI engines) models. In both trim levels, the crossover has a 6-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, according to the website of the brand.
It is noted that seven body colours will be available for the special series, which are combined with black glossy elements: Pearl Black, Deluxe White, Infra Red, Lunar Silver, Blue Flame, Casa White, and Dark Penta Metal. It is specified that the cost of this model is 2 million 124 thousand 900 rubles in the 2.0-litre version (150 hp) and 2 million 234 thousand 900 rubles in the 2.4-litre version (184 hp), and the price of the Premium Black Edition is 2 million 444 thousand 900 rubles.
It is reported that all KIA Sportage Black Editions are equipped with the full Warm Options package, which includes heated front and rear seats, steering wheel rim and windshield in the parking area of the wipers and side mirrors. The exterior mirrors are also equipped with an electric folding drive and turn signal repeaters integrated into the housings. In both trim levels, the crossover has LED optics, a Smart Key system, an automatic dual-zone climate control system, a rearview camera, as well as a multimedia system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support and also access to Yandex services.
