Russia calls on all countries of the world to influence Kiev so that Ukrainian troops stop shelling the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). This was stated to journalists on November 21 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

“This [shelling] cannot but cause our concern, this should cause the IAEA extreme concern,” Peskov said.
He stressed that all countries of the world should use their influence so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not strike at the NPP. At the same time, according to Peskov, it is necessary to objectively discuss the issue of the shelling of the station.
“If we say the phrase “Numerous attacks were recorded,” we still need to be objective and constructive, we need to finish the phrase with “attacks of the station territory by the Ukrainian armed forces,” Peskov explained.
It is reminded that the Russian Defense Ministry reported on November 20 that the Kiev regime does not stop provocations in order to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye NPP.
On November 16, the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said that negotiations on the creation of a protective zone around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant were continuing.
