The ‘Ecolines’ Latvian carrier resumes regular bus service between the Finnish capital, Helsinki, and St. Petersburg from July 15, 2021, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the company’s representative Andrei Volkov.
It is reminded that there has been no regular bus service between the cities since April 2020. Now, according to the numerous wishes of passengers, from July 15, Ecolines will resume regular traffic on the St. Petersburg – Helsinki route. It is specified that departures will be carried out on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, followed by a gradual transition to a daily departure schedule.
The informant replied that only those passengers who have the necessary documents and permits from both countries can travel on international bus routes. The price of a one-way ticket is 2.7 thousand rubles. Travel time is approximately 7 hours, depending on the passage of border and customs formalities.
