On February 12, the State Duma of the Russian Federation presented a memorial travelling exhibition in honour of the 6th company of the Pskov paratroopers, who heroically died in the Argun Gorge in 2000, reports VM.RU.
In the State Duma, 84 tablets were installed in memory of each of the fallen paratroopers. Another is devoted to the description of the feat of the 6th company itself. The battle at the height 776 was a turning point in the fight against the terrorist plague that swept Chechnya in those years.
Thanks to the courage of the fighters, the enemy was stopped. Commemorative events in honour of the feat of the 6th company will be held in Moscow and other regions of the country on March 1.
