A literary cycle route has been published on the ‘Discover Moscow’ portal. Now, Muscovites have a chance to take a walk through the places that were described in the famous literary works of Russian classics, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reported. It is noted that the route can also be downloaded as a mobile application of the same name.
A trip around the city will take about an hour, the length of the route is 12 kilometres. The participants of the tour will see the house of Mumu from the Turgenev‘s story, the estate where Natasha Rostova lived, and many other interesting places.
The bicycle tour with an audio guide will allow users to look at Moscow through the eyes of the heroes of the literary works. The audio guide will tell them about the houses, squares, and boulevards mentioned in the works, as well as read excerpts from books.
