The webcam, which broadcasts the queue to the Winter Palace online, has been launched in the Hermitage and can be seen on its official website. Now you can evaluate the influx of visitors and calculate your time of the visit.
“Now the queue is small, despite the fact that today is a free entry day,” the Hermitage commented.
The start of the video broadcast in early December was promised by the director of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky. At the annual press conference, he explained that the new service will help potential visitors to assess the upcoming waiting time before leaving home.
