Russian ‘Mazda’ dealers sold 2,153 vehicles in January 2021 which is 13 per cent more than a year earlier, AUTOSTAT reports. As a result, Mazda ranked ninth in terms of sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand’s market share was 2.3 per cent in comparison to 1.9 per cent a year earlier.
It is noted that the CX-5 crossover remains the bestseller of Mazda. Its sales in January amounted to 1,572 cars (+14 per cent). As a result, it entered the TOP 10 of the best-selling SUV models on the Russian market, according to the experts of the AUTOSTAT analytical agency. As the specialists previously reported, in January 2021, sales of a new compact crossover Mazda CX-30 began in Russia and in February, dealers got an updated flagship Mazda CX-9 crossover.
