Medical Road Train for Examining Children Resumed Work in Primorye

For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, a medical road train for preventive examination of children resumed its work in Primorye, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the regional government.

It is specified that the field service will work from April 9 to June 6, 2021. The mobile medical complex, consisting of three vehicles, is filled with modern technology for ultrasound diagnostics, gynaecological and ophthalmological equipment. Teams of doctors are formed from narrow pediatric specialists (a neurologist, ENT, pediatric surgeon, pediatric andrologist and gynaecologist, orthopaedic surgeon, pediatric and adolescent psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, ultrasound doctor and ECG nurse).

It is noted that the “Healthcare” national project is aimed at reducing the mortality rate of the population, eliminating the personnel shortage in medical organizations, ensuring coverage of all citizens with preventive medical examinations at least once a year, and optimizing the work of medical institutions. It is also specified that in each settlement, the mobile complex that works as part of the project, will be located at the paramedic-obstetric centre or a medical outpatient clinic.
