Young scientists will be given a million rubles to stay for work in the Southern Urals, reports chelTV. With this money, specialists will be able to buy an apartment or a house to keep conducting their researches.
In total in the region, there are more than 3 thousand young doctors. The head of the region, Alexey Texler, believes that the key to success of qualified specialists is not only to know something but also to be able to do it.
Almost a quarter of doctors are over 65. Therefore, they are ready to help young specialists financially. Scientists with families will be allocated one million rubles to buy a home or pay a mortgage fee.
There are more than 3 thousand applicants. The project will be financed in half – from the regional and federal budgets. The regional government hopes that such social support will replenish the ranks of doctors in hospitals and clinics.
