Ministry of Energy: Russia is Fully Provided With Fuel

The production of petroleum products at Russian enterprises is sufficient to fully meet the domestic demand for fuel, as stated by the Head of the Russian Ministry of Energy, Nikolai Shulginov, RIA Novosti reports.

“The production of petroleum products at the refineries is sufficient to fully meet the current demand for fuel, taking into account the shift in the repair schedule at the Ryazan Petrochemical Complex, reorientation of a part of gasoline exports from the Kirishi refinery of PJSC Surgutneftegas to the domestic market on the recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the FAS of Russia, as well as a significant excess by all manufacturers of the minimum sales of motor fuel on the exchange,” Shulginov said.

The minister added that in addition, oil companies began to implement the recommendations of the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy of Russia on the use of gasoline and diesel fuel from oil depots for shipment to the domestic market since the current level of fuel reserves is at a sufficiently high level for this season.
