A mobile paramedic-obstetric station has appeared in the Chulym district of the Novosibirsk region. The car is equipped with a fluorograph and an examination room, VN.ru reports.
It is claimed that just in three seconds the lung image is ready inside the mobile station. The image goes straight to the computer, so there is no need to print it as before. This helps a lot, as currently about 700 people are registered at the local paramedic-obstetric station. These are residents of Kokoshino and several neighbouring villages. Previously, for medical examinations, local residents had to travel to Chulym, which is 40 minutes away but now they can do it immediately inside a paramedics’ car.
It is noted that for the early detection of oncology and tuberculosis in citizens, more than 10 mobile medical complexes have already been created and put into operation in the region. It is also specified that the car will come to Kokoshino once every three months. There you can take a snapshot of the lungs, undergo examination by a therapist and gynaecologist, and measure blood sugar just in one day. The new mobile station will operate throughout the Chulym district and every Thursday go to a new village.
