Unusual inhabitants appeared in the Yekaterinburg Aquarium: white-eared marmosets, which are listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest monkeys on the planet.
“Despite their miniature nature, like all primates, they are curious, show interest in brilliant objects and, of course, are artistic and emotional,” they say in the aquarium.
They communicate with movement and facial expressions, make interesting sounds – chirp, imitating birds, and spend days scratching each other’s hair. In general, mutual grooming plays an important role in their social relations.
Now there is a poll on the website on how to name a new monkey – Batman, Pumba, Grinch or Hulk. You can participated in voting in the regional website of Yekaterinburg.
