Moon and Venus Expected to Meet in Night Sky of Urals

The conjunction of the Moon and Venus can be seen in the night sky on February 27, reports e1.ru. This was told by the engineer of the training observatory of Ural Federal University Vladilen Sanakoev.

People will be able to observe Venus in the sky for several months, but in most cases, at least binoculars will be needed. However, the very first move of the Moon to Venus, which will happen in February, can be seen even with the naked eye.

According to Vladilen, the maximum effect of observing Venus in the sky will be in April and the end of July, when the planet will have the maximum brightness. Since it has a high speed of movement through the night sky, there are many events associated with it.

The next night, suitable for observing Venus, is March 8. With the help of binoculars, you will see Venus next to Uranus. Such a spectacular emergence of Venus, as this year, are repeated only once every eight years.
