The press service of the regional tourism committee told VM.RU where to look for summer-autumn berries in the Moscow region. The berries that can be harvested until mid-September are usually found in ravines, the banks of forest rivers, and forest edges.
In the Moscow region, raspberries can be found in the Solnechnogorsk urban district east of Lake Senezh, along the banks of the Dubna River, as well as in clearings in the Volokolamsk direction. Huckleberry usually grows in swampy areas and spruce forests. It is recommended to look for it in the forests on the border of the Taldomsky and Dmitrovsky urban districts, in the floodplain of the Dubna River, or in the Sergiyev Posad district, by the border with the Vladimir region.
Large berries can be harvested in the forests of Yegoryevsky, Shatursky, Orekhovo-Zuevsky, and Lotoshinsky urban districts. Blueberries also grow in swampy areas of theTaldomsky, Shatursky, and Yegoryevsky urban districts. Lingonberries can be found in the sands and pine forests, as well as in the hills, so the experts advise to seek for them in the forests of the Meshcherskaya lowland in the Shatursky and Yegoryevsky urban districts.
