A festive artillery salute in memory of the liberation of the Slovak capital Bratislava in April 1945 was given on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
It is noted that 24 volleys were fired from 18 artillery guns of the times of the Great Patriotic War. More than three thousand festive fireworks were produced from self-propelled combined salute launchers based on the KamAZ car. In total, over 50 types of fireworks were released into the sky of Moscow, including Rubin, Assol, and others. The domes exceeded 300 meters in diameter.
