At 11 Moscow parking lots with a barrier, motorists will be able to use a Troika card instead of a parking ticket, the press service of the city’s transport department reported in its official Telegram-Channel.
The “Troika” transport card is an electronic card for paying for public transport and city services in Moscow and the Moscow region. It is announced that driving with such a card to the parking lots in Moscow will be available at eight intercept parking lots and three hourly ones. It is clarified that in order to enter them, people just need to attach a card to the counter with a barrier. It is noted that innovation will have a beneficial effect on the environment, making it possible to abandon many one-time parking tickets.
“The new entry system is very convenient for users of intercepting parking lots – those that are free for motorists changing to the metro, MCD or MCC,” the Head of the Moscow Transport Department, Maksim Liksutov, said.
