Moscow in Figures: New Infographic Created by Research Centre

Specialists of the Russian Foundation for Public Opinion analyzed their previous research works and made an interactive infographic “Moscow in Figures“. Thus, analysts recalled that 40% of city residents have a bicycle and 22% ride a bicycle at least once a month, while 33% of Muscovites use the metro every day. The most beautiful stations became “Ploshchad Revolyutsii” and “Mayakovskaya”.  

The experts noted that 33% of residents visit parks quite often, and 40% at least occasionally buy food on the street. Favourite places of Muscovites are Red Square and Arbat. It was also found that 69% of respondents know the history of the city, 65% like to visit the city centre, and 38% in the last 2-3 years have been on excursions around the city.

The specialists have determined that 50% of those surveyed are the native inhabitants of the city, 88% of Muscovites love this city, and 60% consider it hospitable. In addition, 90% of Muscovites love their district, 53% know its history, and 48% believe that over the past 2-3 years, the life in their area has become more eventful. In addition, 74% of Muscovites greet all their neighbours when they meet them and 36% even visit their neighbours from time to time.
