The Central Moscow Library named after N. A. Nekrasov donated 500 books, including those by Lyudmila Ulitskaya, Donna Tartt, John Williams, Dina Rubina, Elizabeth Gilbert, and others, to the observational centre in Sokolniki, where citizens with mild COVID-19 are being treated.
It is noted that the observational centre provides for zoning into sectors of reception and discharge of citizens, temporary accommodation, and leisure activities with “quiet” and “noisy” living rooms. According to the official website of the Moscow mayor, each patient of the centre is given a tablet with educational and entertainment content, including free access to the electronic library of the ‘Bookmate’ service.
