Moscow Mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, took part in the opening of the Moscow International Oncology Centre (IMOC), which was created with JSC European Medical Centre (EMC), the city news agency Moscow reports.
Moscow received one of the best oncology clinics in Europe, provided with the latest technologies in the world, which will provide assistance to patients under the compulsory medical insurance policy. Sobyanin said that Muscovites are approaching an average life expectancy of 80 years, which means that the load on the systems associated with cancer treatment will increase. The city creates its own system and invests a lot of budget money in its development. The city mayor emphasized that the largest investor is the EMC clinic.
