Moscow Museums to Celebrate Alexander Pushkin Memorial Day

Museums of the Russian capital will host events dedicated to the anniversary of the death of the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. 

On February 9, the exhibition “My Portrait” will be opened in the Pushkin House-Museum. The exposition will feature portraits of the poet, performed by Nikolai Ulyanov, Vasiliy Shukhaev, Konstantin Rudakov, Konstantin Yuon and Alexander Tyshler. The exhibition will be held until May 10.

On the same day, Sergey Andriyaka’s watercolour school will host a concert “Our Pushkin”. Guests will see fragments from the poet’s works. As part of the event, Vladimir Nikolaev’s musical performance based on the works “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish” and “The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda” will also be held.
