The Russian National Museum of Music celebrates its birthday on March 24, 2021. Festive events will be broadcast in its social networks (Facebook, VKontakte, and Instagram), on its official website and on the Kultura.RF portal, the press service of the museum reports.
So, on March 24 at 1 pm there will be a broadcast of the programme “Children’s Album with Nikita Demidov“. The young musician will share his impressions of acquaintance with mechanical musical instruments. In turn, museum staff will answer questions about the history of the exhibits’ creation. A surprise will be a meeting with a modern organ grinder.
On the same day, at 3 pm there will be a broadcast of the concert “Meeting with the Composer. Nicolas Celoro“. The musician will talk about his work and the composers who inspire him. Then, at 8 pm, as part of the “Russian Folk Music” concert, they will play rare musical instruments.
Also, in honour of the birthday of the museum on March 27, a series of free excursions and children’s activities will be arranged in the Sergei Prokofiev Museum, the Museum-Apartment of N. S. Golovanov, and the Museum-Apartment of A. B. Goldenweiser. More information about the events can be found on the musem’s official website.
