More than 100 night entertainment establishments in Moscow received unique QR codes to ensure the check-in of visitors, TASS reports. According to the city authorities, the system of check-ins will reduce possible losses to organizations and thousands of people employed in the industry.
It is expected that the system of check-ins in nightlife entertainment establishments in Moscow, where it is almost impossible to maintain social distance and a mask and glove regime, will help to avoid their complete closure. More than 500 nightclubs and bars will use this visitor identification system which the owners of the establishments themselves have initiated.
It is specified that all entertainment establishments in Moscow, the operating hours of which include the period from 12 am to 6 am, must join the system from October 19, 2020. For each object, a QR code and a digital code will be generated for sending SMS, which is obligatory to be printed and placed at the entrance to the institution. Then, if one of the visitors is diagnosed with a coronavirus, all those present at that time will receive notifications that they are at risk.
