Beer producers in the Moscow Region have become leaders in Russia, MosRegToday reported. The results were summed up for the first half of 2020.
The Moscow region retains its leadership in the production of alcoholic beverages in the country, namely beer, beverages made from beer, cider, and mead. It is specified that the region produced 15 796.412 thousand decaliters of these beverages. More than 50 beer producers work in the region. It is also noted that the region produces about 16 per cent of all-Russian production volumes.
