Two Moscow restaurants, White Rabbit and Twins Garden, were included in the annual rating of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In the list announced on October 5 at a ceremony in Antwerp, they took 25th and 30th places, respectively.

On the rating’s website, White Rabbit is described as a place with a spectacular 360-degree view of Moscow from its 16th-floor dining room. As specified, visitors are fond of Vladimir Mukhin’s inventive cuisine using Russian ingredients – swan liver pâté with torched marshmallows or baked cabbage with caviar.

The restaurant Twins Garden supplies its own products. The chefs’ farm outside Moscow now turns out 70 per cent of the ingredients used at Twins Garden, and leftovers are sent back to feed the animals, making this an almost zero-waste operation. In addition, all proceeds go to the restaurant’s fund, which supports children in need, provides shelter for animals, and helps restore Orthodox churches.

It should be noted that the first lines in the ranking of the best restaurants of 2021 were taken by Noma (Copenhagen, Denmark), Geranium (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Asador Etxebarri (Ashpe-aChondo, Spain).
