The “Moscow Spring a Cappella” festival will be held in Moscow from May 28 to June 7. The event will hold the international competition of acapella singing, the official website of the Moscow Seasons cycle of events reports.
The deputy mayor of the capital, Natalia Sergunina, stated that the international festival and competition based on it will be held in Moscow already for the fourth time. Vocal groups will be able to apply for participation from February 18 to April 20.
“We invite performers from all over Russia and from other countries. Participants who have passed the qualifying round will get a chance to speak to a huge audience. This is one of the most popular events of the Moscow Seasons,” said Sergunina.
Natalia noted that last time 7.4 million Muscovites and tourists visited the festival venues. Note, that participants must be over 18 years old, and the repertoire should be a total duration of at least 20-30 minutes.
