The number of downloads of the Moscow State Services mobile application has increased to 14 thousand times a day. The application has been operating since 2012, during which time it has been installed over 3.5 million times, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
According to Oleg Filimonov, the head of the Mobile Services at the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, in the application “Moscow State Services” city residents receive a single payment document, pay utility bills, transmit water meter readings, view charges and more from their smartphones.
In March, Muscovites downloaded the government services application twice as often as in previous months. Using this application, people can pay for visits to children’s clubs and sections, car fines, as well as leave a request for a broken elevator or uncleaned garbage.
