During the three years of the “Museums for Children” project, school and college students of Moscow visited city museums for free more than 1.3 million times. The most popular were the Darwin Museum, the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics, the State Pushkin Museum, the Timiryazev Biological Museum, and the Borodino Battle Panorama Museum, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.

To visit a museum in Moscow for free, a child should contact the cashier of an institution with the sign “Here a Student Can Get a Free Ticket” and attach his Muscovite card or Moskvenok service identifier to the reader, and then receive a ticket. It is noted that children usually visit museums both during the school year and during holidays.
In total, school and college students of Moscow can visit 96 museums and exhibition halls for free. At the moment, institutions must be visited with a mask and gloves, as well as observe the social distance. It is noted that teachers can even conduct school classes in museums. It is specified that children can also come on their own, with friends or relatives.
