The department noted that the technical infrastructure of the city is ready to launch such a system. If the epidemiological situation worsens, it can quickly start to operate. The department said that in the case of the introduction of a city transit permit, residents will need to receive a specialized code to confirm movement in Moscow.
The control is necessary to identify the cases of a gross violation of the self-isolation regime when a person unnecessarily leaves home and puts at risk of coronavirus infection other citizens. The permit code can be received through a personal account on the official website of Moscow Mayor.
