Children’s Technopark “Kalibr” began enrollment for free online classes in the areas of “3D Modelling and Computer Animation”, “Industrial Design and Creative Thinking”, and others, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
Children from 12 years old will have a chance to register on the official websites of technology parks and on their pages in the social networks VKontakte, Facebook, Instagram. According to the director of the Naukograd children’s industrial park, Svetlana Zabelina, with the help of a virtual tour, students will visit classrooms and a unique museum of technology.
“Schoolchildren will be able to see a rare gramophone, the first telegraph and telegraph key, one of the first cameras, typewriters and various measuring instruments with just a few clicks of the mouse,” said Svetlana.
The head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow, Alexey Fursin, stated that almost all children’s technology parks have switched to distance learning. He also noted that today, more than 2.6 thousand children are undergoing or completing online training in children’s technology parks.
