From December 25 to January 8, New Year tours will be held on the winter life of the zoo inhabitants, according to the Director General of the Moscow Zoo Svetlana Akulova.

“By the New Year, we have prepared a festive program. Guests will learn how the inhabitants of the zoo behave in the period of cold weather. We invite children together with their parents to special New Year program,” said Svetlana Akulova.
She noted that in winter you can trace the habits of rare species of animals. During the New Year holidays, an excursion “Even an ostrich and a raccoon celebrate New Year” will take place, where visitors will see polar bears, polar wolves, wolverines, arctic foxes, northern fur seals, Baltic seals, Japanese macaques, Sichuan takins, and other animals, according to the Moscow mayor’s official website.
