Analysts of the ‘Tutu.ru’ travel service have found out where Russian residents plan to spend their May holidays this year, RT reports. Simferopol topped the rating for departures from Moscow. An air ticket to Crimea will cost a tourist 6.3 thousand rubles on average.
The second place in the ranking is occupied by Sochi, the ticket price for which is about 5.4 thousand rubles. The third was a flight to Kaliningrad, the cost of which on average does not exceed 4.9 thousand rubles. Among tourists departing from Moscow, tickets to Mineralnye Vody, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Anapa, Makhachkala, and Gelendzhik are also in demand.
Among passengers departing from St. Petersburg, the most popular flights were to Sochi (6.3 thousand rubles), Simferopol (8.2 thousand rubles), and Kaliningrad (4.7 thousand rubles). In addition, people in the cultural capital of Russia are interested in Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar, Samara, and Kazan. At the same time, the average cost of air travel within Russia from May 1 to 10, 2021 decreased compared to the same period last year (7.2 thousand rubles one way against 7.5 thousand rubles in 2020).
