It became known that almost a third of Russian students graduating from school are going to continue their education in economic specialities, Izvestia reports.
A study of the educational company Maximum Education showed that the leader in the preferences of applicants is the direction of “Economics and Management”. The following directions are “Informatics and Computer Engineering” and “Physical and Technical Science and Technology”. Then go linguistics and jurisprudence.
There was 54 per cent of the students surveyed are ready to receive higher education only at the expense of the state budget, 45 per cent do not exclude the option of a paid department along with the budget, and only one per cent is deliberately tuned exclusively to a paid form of education.
