Most Russians Plan Summer Vacations in Crimea

The SuperJob job search service specialists conducted a study to find out which summer vacation destinations are the most popular among economically active Russians. These directions turned out to be the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory. 

According to the results of the study, 6 per cent of those surveyed are going to have a trip to the Crimea this summer, 5 per cent will go to the Krasnodar Territory, and 1 per cent, to the Kaliningrad Region. In turn, another 5 per cent of respondents chose Lake Baikal, Altai Territory, Karelia, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.

In addition, 4 per cent of Russians are going to spend their holidays abroad, 3 per cent would like to visit another settlement, the same number are going to go to Turkey, if it is open (3 per cent), 18 per cent of respondents will renew their energy at home, 10 per cent are going to have a rest at their dacha or in the village, and no vacation at all this year will have 28 per cent of Russians.

It is specified that women more often than men choose the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory (6 per cent versus 4 per cent) and travel on a visit (4 per cent versus 2 per cent). Besides, those who plan foreign trips to open countries are more often the surveyed with an income of over 80 thousand rubles (8 per cent).
