MSP Bank entered the top 10 leading banks in terms of loans issued in 2019 to small and medium-sized enterprises, reports the bank’s press service. The study was conducted by Expert RA rating agency.
The volume of loans issued in 2019 increased by 70% and reached 83 billion rubles. The bank associates this primarily with participation in the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.
In particular, MSP Bank actively lending to small and medium-sized companies under its lending subsidy program of the Ministry of Economic Development. The company focused on supporting priority sectors for the Russian economy. In 2019, the bank significantly expanded its regional network, having opened 14 new business counselling centres, 7 of which are located in the North Caucasus Federal District.
According to the research results, in general, the volume of loans issued to MSP in 2019 was 15% higher than in 2018. It amounted to 7.8 trillion rubles, which is a record since 2014 (then this figure reached 7.6 trillion rubles).
