Over a week, Muscovites sent more than 24 million points under the ‘Million Prizes’ charity programme, where one point is equal to one ruble, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
It is noted that 13 charitable foundations assisting people with hearing and sight problems, as well as families with children and homeless animals, took part in the programme. On July 6, city residents activated about 5.5 thousand certificates per thousand points to support the fund “Dr. Liza”. The total sum amounted to 5.46 million rubles. The second most popular fund is the Kotodetki Charitable Foundation for helping homeless animals. There, residents of the capital sent 4.76 million rubles.
