Muscovites received over 610 million tokens on the Troika card for refusing to travel by public transport, the press service of the Moscow Metro reported.
It is noted that after starting the quest “Let’s Stay Home?” more than 93 per cent of users of the City loyalty programme refused to travel with a transport card. From March 30 to June 14, 2020, users were encouraged for helping to combat the spread of coronavirus and stay at home. The cardholders who stopped traveling by bus and metro for a period of 7 days or more received tokens that brought them closer to a new level in the programme. Citizens were also awarded bonuses that can be spent on real goods and services (1 bonus is equal to 1 ruble).
