Muscovites Started Pet Chipping Campaign

A new campaign for chipping pets has begun in Moscow. From September 1 to September 30 it is possible to chip a pet at a reduced price (682 rubles including a microchip), the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.

It is noted that the action was resumed at the request of the city residents. Every year, more than 6,000 domestic animals are chipped in the state veterinary institutions of  Moscow. In the spring of this year, specialists have already chipped more than 600 pets.

The procedure is very useful, as it allows finding a lost pet or prevent its substitution. The chip is installed within a few minutes which is absolutely safe for pets. By the chip number, an owner can find the information about the vaccination of his animal, as well as trace its medical history.
