Muscovites Take 3D Photos in “Ice Caves” of Moscow Metro

When Moscow citizens will meet Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, they will receive New Year’s greetings, festive mood and unforgettable memories.

Thematic trains decorated in a festive style were launched on the main lines of the subway. In total, more than 6 thousand units of transport with a New Year’s design run on Moscow streets, which is 90 times more than in 2018, Moscow Mayor website reports.

Animators looking like the characters from the Nutcracker tale will drop in the subway trains to greet the passengers. Moreover, the stations will be announced by Russian celebrities, such as Oleg Gazmanov, Vera Brezhneva, Alexander Rosenbaum, Nadezhda Babkina, Dmitry Malikov, Leonid Agutin, Basta and many others.

Some stations have photo zones resembling ice caves. Inside them, you can take a 3D photo. Also, in the transition between the Sportivnaya and the Luzhniki metro stations, an ice rink was opened, which will work until January 15 from 10:00 to 22:00.
